Boy, is it that time again already? It’s time to talk about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure! This time on the podcast Josh and Stacey take a turn to talk with Jack about Araki Hirohiko’s masterpiece. Something about these thrilling globetrotters is just so attractive… oh, and the anime isn’t half-bad either!
The Bros visit Kumoricon once again for a weekend of cosplay, trivia, and severe lack of sleep. Listen as we give our 2018 con report, and answer everyone’s most anticipated question of the year: Was it a good’n?
This week on the ‘cast, Jack has been missing for several months, and the Amber Alert that we issued has proved unfruitful. So, to fill in, Kenny joins the Bro in a lively discussion of Darling in the Franxx.
NOTE: We do realize that it has been approximately 9 decades since the last episode. This was recorded the week Franxx finished, for the record. So now you know how lazy we are…
Laven and Jack are nowhere to be found, so Wesley and Joshua interview Stacey and Jennifer about their experience at Kameha Con, the first ever Dragon Ball fan convention! The girls met several of their favorite voice actors and provided interpretation services for Ryō Horikawa, the voice of Vegeta.
We’re a long way from Texas… oh wait, no we’re not.

We’re proud to announce the launch of our podcast network! It’s called Anibros Creative and will feature awesome content from our good friends and partners in crime. Please visit our website at http://AnibrosCreative.com to enjoy some more great podcasts!
The Anibros were graciously invited to return to The World in Review, a podcast of society and culture. Our first appearance on this program was years ago, and it was great catching up with Ira Pass and taking a look at how much the world of anime, and by extension, ourselves have changed.
It’s not a Magna, but it’ll have to do.
Please enjoy this insightful interview brought to you in part by Jaker’s Anime Emporium and listeners like you.
Kumoricon has come and gone once again, and what have we learned? Not only is it the most fun an anime fan can legally have in Oregon, but it’s the best place to find industry guests, fan panels, karaoke, cosplay, gaming, and much more. The Anibros and Sons found themselves getting up to all sorts of hijinks at the convention center, and now the Good Patrick is here to help set the record straight on what really happened there on that fateful weekend.
Wesley crushing Anime Jeopardy: The Midnight Run
Don’t miss this discussion our favorite memories of the con as well as the technical feat known as the glomp circle.
You know the old saying: while the cat is away the mice will play! By “cat” I mean Laven, and by “play” I mean talk about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure! Just as the obsession is starting to wane, Jack finally finds someone to talk with about Araki’s gift to mankind. This person is… Willis?! Although he has only just finished the sixth part of Jojo, he is more than happy to make a triumphant return to the Anibros fold!
Not pictured: Vampire Jojo, Mafia Jojo, Inmate Jojo.
The conversation weaves from Phantom Blood through Stone Ocean and everything in between, so minor spoilers for those parts.
In a move that surprises no one at this point, the Anibros finally let the kettle boil over and dedicate an entire episode to their favorite works produced by studio Gainax! Joining the dynamic duo is Laven’s cousin Kenny, who we last heard from over three years ago on episode 50 of this fine podcast. Time sure flies, doesn’t it?
Too bad this isn’t an animated gif or we could have had some of that signature Gainax bounce.
Whether you’re looking for recommendations for new anime to watch or you’ve already been crowned the Otaking, please enjoy our discussion of our favorite Gainax anime.
